Half-Time Report 2018

 

10-15 Associates hosted their semi-annual client appreciation event before a capacity crowd at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Suffern, NY on July 12, 2018. Cofounder and Chief Investment Officer, Deborah DeMatteo presented her half time report – reviewing the first six months of 2018 and what she anticipates for the balance of the year.

 

Deborah discusses the volatility of the market to date and the impact that trade talks are having on the market. Also covered; fears over inflation, what a rise in interest rates could mean, and challenges in the European market. Additional topics include corporate earnings growth as well as a review of the best and worst performing market sectors. She finished by discussing what impact that geopolitical risks, including trade disputes and tariff retaliation, could have on the market moving forward.

Anticipating Change: Forecast 2018

 

10-15 Associates hosted their semi-annual customer appreciation event on January 23, 2018, before a full house at the Falkirk Estate and Country Club in Central Valley, NY. As is custom, Co-Founder and Chief Investment Officer Deborah DeMatteo broke her presentation into three segments: where we’ve been, where we are, and where we might be going.

 

DeMatteo discussed the S&P’s earnings growth, investor’s attitudes regarding the market, and weighed the possibility of a market correction. She also discussed the possible affect that inflation, unemployment, and tax reform could have on the economy. A Tale of Two Markets – Half-Time 2017

 

On July 18, 10-15 Associates hosted their semi-annual customer appreciation event at the Doubletree Hotel in Tarrytown, New York. In front of a packed house, 10-15 Associates’ Chief Investment Officer, Deborah DeMatteo, recapped the first six months of the year and discussed where the financial markets may be heading for the balance of 2017.

 

During the presentation, titled, ‘A Tale of Two Markets,’ Deborah discusses her thoughts, as bond prices reflect an economic slowdown, while stock prices indicate economic growth. She also discusses; how political affiliations impact optimism about the economy, how the stock market and emerging markets performed, the labor markets’ impact on inflation, and the need to pay attention to consumer confidence, and investor sentiment, moving forward.

Customer Appreciation Event January 19, 2017

 

10-15 Associates hosted their semi-annual customer appreciation event on January 19th at Villa Borghese in Wappingers Falls, New York. Over 200 enthusiastic clients and guests were in attendance to hear Chief Investment Officer, Deborah DeMatteo, deliver her 2017 Market Forecast. Deborah’s presentation was broken into; where we’ve been, where we are, and where we might be going. She provided a forecast on the direction of the markets, a recap of key events in the second half of 2016, and described significant themes to watch for as we approach the end of the year.
